What actually is “Trading” and How to Profit with Crypto

• A basic economic concept involving the buying and selling of stocks, commodities, currency pairs, or other instruments, with the intention to make a profit

What are cryptocurrencies?

• Digital currencies

• Typically used as a medium of exchange

How do I profit from these? From trading and cryptocurrencies

• We trade them as pairs, looking at the change in value between the two (e.g. BTC/USD)

• Profits are generated by buying the actual cryptocurrency/asset at a lower price and selling at a higher price within a relatively short period of time (exchange trading)

• You can also profit with price going not only up, but also going down (leverage trading)

Exchange Trading

• You want the value to go UP in price! (buy low, sell high)

• You buy the asset/cryptocurrency

• Purchasing cryptocurrencies and holding until the value increases to the target price

• We do this with STRATEGY AND RISK MANAGEMENT (not sporadic!)

Leverage Trading

• You don’t care if the price is going UP or going DOWN; you care about ‘forecasting’ correctly the direction in which a currency’s value will go (strengthen or weaken) relative to another currency (e.g. BTC/USD)

• You become in possession of a “contract” (NOT the actual cryptocurrency/asset)

• You purchase the contract and hold until the value reaches a target price

• We do this with STRATEGY and RISK MANAGEMENT (not sporadic!)
